It flows and sometimes runs.
We love it. It scares us. And suddenly, a life
starts.
Without being asked, we start as children.
Young and innocent.
We get forced to learn and deal with the surroundings we were born into.
We learn how to walk, to talk, how to behave,
and how to function.
We are overwhelmed but curious.
Time.
Without being asked, we get older, even if we
don’t want to.
We have to find our place in life.
A way through school, through friendships, and
breakups.
We get to know love and anxiety.
It’s the
first time we get forced to think about our future.
We are overwhelmed but curious.
Time.
We cannot fight it, but we’re adults now.
We move out, live our own lives, and get confronted with being independent. We
have to take responsibility, not only for ourselves but for others, too.
We love it. It scares us.
We do jobs we don’t want to do and are scared to change something.
We regret decisions and crave everything we don’t have, instead of seeing the things we have.
We are curious but overwhelmed.
Time.
We are old now.
Most of our life has been lived.
We loved it. It scared us.
And suddenly, a life starts..
